These are the terms for using The Olawuni Table, a personal, invite-only website run by Olamide and Alexandra Olawuni for organising small gatherings at our home in Tampa, Florida. By using the site you agree to these terms.
Who can use this
- The site is for people who have been invited to a gathering, or who follow a public link we've shared.
- You must be at least 13 to create an account.
- You're responsible for keeping your sign-in email safe — anyone with access to it can RSVP as you.
Food, allergies, and your safety
We try our best to honor every dietary preference and allergy on file, but we cannot guarantee that any dish is free of any allergen. Our kitchen is a normal home kitchen, not a commercial one, and cross-contamination is possible. If you have a severe allergy, please:
- Mark it as such on your profile (with severity).
- Bring whatever you need — medication, alternate food — to keep yourself safe.
- Tell us in person on the day if you'd like to skip a course.
By accepting an invitation, you accept this.
What we expect from you
- Be kind to other guests. We can revoke invitations and remove accounts that aren't.
- Don't share invitation links publicly without asking — they're personal.
- Don't try to circumvent capacity limits, scrape data, or interfere with the site for other guests.
What you can expect from us
- We'll only contact you about gatherings we're hosting. No marketing, no third-party offers.
- We'll honor your preferences. If you turn "open invitations" off, we won't include you in open-call rounds.
- We'll keep your data private. See the privacy policy for specifics.
Liability
The site is provided "as is". We're a couple running a hospitality project out of our home, not a venture or service business. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (implied or otherwise) and aren't liable for any loss, injury, or inconvenience arising from your use of the site or attendance at a gathering, except where the law explicitly prohibits such limitations (for example, gross negligence or willful misconduct).
Termination
You can stop using the site at any time by clicking "Delete my account" on your profile page. We can revoke an invitation or close an account at our discretion if these terms are broken.
Changes
If we update these terms in a material way, we'll change the "Last updated" date and let signed-in guests know on their next visit. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Hillsborough County, Florida, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
